£130k-a-week agrees to sensational Arsenal transfer

Wantaway striker, Alexis Sanchez has reportedly agreed to join Premier League leaders, Manchester City this summer after a move to the Etihad Stadium failed to materialise on deadline day last summer.

With six month left on the Chilean’s existing contract at the Emirates having failed to extend his contract with the north-London club, he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with any club of his choice in January ahead of a cut-price deal this month or a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Sun  reports that the Chilean has his heart set on joining the Citizens for free in the summer with an agreement already in place between both parties and has rejected other clubs in favor of the Premier League leaders.

However, an unexpected six weeks injury to Brazilian forward, Gabriel Jesus in a 0-0 draw away at Selhurst Park on New Year’s Eve might fast-track the Chilean move to the Etihad stadium this month with reports suggesting he could be available for a cut-price fee in the region of £25 million.

The former Barcelona forward had an indifferent start to the season for the Gunners with many questioning his commitment to the north-London club, but he has showed glimpse of his last season form with impressive displays in recent weeks.

He has featured in 21 games for the Gunners across all competitions scoring 8 goals and providing three assists.

The 29-year-old is known for his pace, flair, dribbling, finishing, creativity, versatility and also a free-kick specialist.
