395-goal striker linked with a sensational move to Chelsea

Portuguese international, Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly open to a move to Stamford Bridge according to reports making the rounds.

The former Manchester United winger has been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital in recent months with reports claiming the Portuguese wants out of the Bernabeu this summer.

Daily Star reports the veteran striker wants to leave the European champions this summer with Chelsea his preferred destination.

It is believed the Blues have offered him a mouth watering deal and could even use Eden Hazard in a potential swap deal with Roman Abrahamovic keen on bringing in a marquee signing this summer having watched his Chelsea side fall 16 points behind runaway Premier League leaders, Manchester City who have only dropped four points so far this campaign.

The Los Blancos have been heavily linked with a big money move for the Belgian superstar this summer and could be open to a swap deal considering the Portuguese is no longer at the peak of his powers.

The 32-year-old has struggled in front of goal in the La Liga so far this season scoring only four times but has been in sensational form in the Champions League having scored 9 times, but his 395 career goals speaks volume for him.

The Portuguese attacker has enjoyed a trophy laden career with the Los Blancos since his record breaking move from English giants, Manchester United in the summer of 2009 having won every trophy available with the La Liga giants.

However, it is left to be seen if he will eventually leave the Spanish capital this summer due to his release clause set at €1 billion.

Although, the World best player has reportedly informed the Real Madrid hierarchy to lower his release clause in other for the Portuguese forward to be able to secure a move away from the Bernabeu.

With Eden Hazard keen on joining the Spanish giants this summer, signing Ronaldo would be a massive coup for the Blues.
