4-3-3-: How Chelsea will line up with Kovavic and Jorginho in midfield this season

Chelsea have emerged from the ashes like a phoenix with a flurry of positive moves despite their less than ideal pre-season. the blues have had to withstand several distractions from Managerial changes to transfer speculations on their best players.

However, the recent signings of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Mateo Kovacic alongside Jorginho has given an indication of how the team would line up this season

Sarri is a disciple of the 4-3-3 formation with his Sarri-ball philosophy of getting the ball to the front players quickly with short passes aimed at getting the ball as upward as possible. Also, he is expected to introduce high line and intense pressing without the ball.

Kepa is expected to start in goal while the defence pretty much picks itself with Marcos Alonso starting at left back alongside Rudiger and Luiz at the centre back position Azpiculleta or Victor Moses would occupy the right back position.

The midfield looks sort out with Jorginho the deepest of the trio as the conductor of plays ably supported by Kante who is expected to shield the Italian international. Kovacic would be expected to be the link that connects the midfield to attack although Ross Barkley and Loftus-Cheek are other options

Up front Hazard would take his customary position on the left side of the attack while Willian and Pedro would battle for the right-hand side of attack. Morata and Giroud would battle it out for who leads the line.
