Chelsea’s coach Maurizio Sarri has had an impressive start with the Blues since his resumtion of duties in Stamford Bridge, he has not recorded any defeat as his flag flies high in the sky. It appears the Sarri’s side will like to maintain the clean slate they have as they prepare to take on Newcastle on Sunday afternoon at the St James Park.

Sarri who has experienced success in using his 4-3-3 formation is hoped to stick to his plan, though he is not pleased with the output of the defence flank since his resumption.

Summer signing Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to mount the crossbar for the clash despite not meeting up to expectation in the Blues match against Arsenal which the Gunners netted a goal that could’ve been avoided but it appears the expensive goalkeeper is still learning to settle in his new home.

In the defence flank, the back of the park features the likes of David Zappacosta, Gary Cahill and Andreas Christensen, yet the Blues appears to be lagging which was evident in their match against Arsenal but the Napoli man will be maintaining his preference unless he decides on an adjustment, leaving Cesar Azpilicueta to start at the right-back and Marcos Alonso on the left, while David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger will play side by side to maintain the middle.

Sarri has revealed the Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic will be making his debut starting but however, he is not sure if he can play the full 90minutes but if he decides give him his first start, Ross Baerkley will have to step aside to give way for Kovacic as Sarri wont risk the chance of not having Jorginho in his first XI as well as N’Golo Kante.

Alvaro Morata and Pedro is expected to feature after seeing the back of the net in previous matches leaving Oliver Giroud to the bench and Sarri also named Eden Hazard to be making a start but a full playing time is not sure for him.
