As the winter window is gradually edging towards its end, managers are working tirelessly with their directors to ensure that the best quality is recruited to further their course.

Arsenal have stuttered but this window can be used to set things right by simply bringing in players of top quality to make things easy for those already at the club.

One of such player is former Genk academy graduate who has played for Monaco and Atletico Madrid but joined Chinese club Yifang Yannick.

The move was shocking but it seems the player is looking for a way back to Europe with Arsenal and Manchester United hot on his tails.

Arsenal, alongside Manchester United, are keen on the wide player who has scored 7 goals in 25 appearances in the past year. However, the player is reported to favour a move to the north London club.

The 25-year-old Belgian could be used as a replacement for injury prone Danny Welbeck or currently side-lined Henrikh Mkhitaryan by Unai Emery.

United could use the experienced player to strengthen their flanks which could contribute to their march to top four.

To balance their book, the Chinese club is demanding the sum £26.5 million for the player. A sum Arsenal seem capable of paying after reported meetings being held with the player’s representative.
