Manchester United wonderkid Angel Gomes have gotten the Manchester United fan base talking about a first team breakthrough after he scored an absolute stunner during England U17 4 – 0 win against Chile.

Born in August 2001, Gomes joined the Manchester United academy at the age of six, and signed a formal contract at age 13. He has since broken and set new records within his age group becoming the youngest player to score a hat-trick for Manchester United at academy level since 2001 and third youngest player to achieve the feat in the Club’s history.

The starlet made his first team debut on 21 May 2017, when he replaced Wayne Rooney in a 2 – 0 victory at home to Crystal Palace thereby becoming the youngest player to represent Manchester United since Duncan Edwards in 1953 at the age of 16, as well as the first player born in the 2000s to appear in the Premier League.

Although the youngster is eligible to play for Angola and Portugal, he opted to play for England where he has captained at U-16 , U-17 and U-18 levels.

The 17-year-old has been tipped as one for the future due to his technical abilities and skills which includes a dribbling, wide range of passing, close control, composure and conversion of set piece.
