Not Debuchy: Arsenal star set to follow Sanchez out of Arsenal



Spanish side Valencia are reportedly closing in on out-of-favor midfielder Francis Coquelin ahead of a potential winter move to the Mestalla.

Reports from Spanish news outlet Cadena Ser understands that the La Liga giants are on the verge of agreeing a deal with the Gunners for the potential exit of Frenchman.

It is believed the French midfielder will join Valencia on-loan till the end of the season with an option to buyin the summer.

However, reports also suggest the defensive midfielder is being valued for a fee in the region of £12 million.

He broke into the Gunners first team in the 2014/15 season due to an injury crisis at Arsenal and was recalled from a loan spell at Championship side, Charlton Athletic in other to serve as cover for injuries for the Gunners in the middle of the park.

After series of impressive displays as a substitute, he was handed his first Premier League start in 23 months as the Gunners defeated the Hammers at the Boleyn Ground on the 28th of December 2014 and later metamorphosed into one of the best defensive midfielders in the League having forged a good partnership alongside Santi Cazorla.

Meanwhile, the former Charlton Athletic midfielder has found games hard to come by this season after falling down the pecking order and has been majorly used in cup games so far this term.

The 26-year-old has featured in 13 games across all competitions for the Gunners majorly as a substitute and he is also known for his dribbling, interceptions, tackling, passing, winning aerial duels and concentration.
