Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on PSV Winger Hirving Lozano according to reports in England. The Mexican international has enjoyed a brilliant start in the Eredivisie so far and has attracted attention from the Gunners due to his impressive form. Arsenal’s chief scout Steve Rowley was present at one of PSV Eindhoven home game to watch the winger play and could be available for a fee in the region of £20 million. The Mexican winger joined Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in the summer from his boyhood club Pachuca on a six years contract.

With Manchester City still keen on returning with a bid for Chilean star Alexis Sanchez and with the striker not keen on signing a new deal with the Gunners, Lozano could be the ideal replacement for the wantaway striker if he maintains his goal scoring form. The 22-year-old has represented his country from the U-20 and U-23 level and was part of the team that won the 13th CONCACAF Under-20 Championship in 2015. He later got a call up to the national team on the 10th of February 2016 by Juan Carlos Osorio and was part of the team that finished fourth in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia.

The Mexican international scored on his Eredivisie debut in his side 3-2 win against AZ Alkmaar and became the first PSV player to score in his first three Eredivise games. He has withdrawn from his side World Cup qualifier against Bolivia due to an injury to his right elbow but won’t be much of a miss for the El Tri having qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Russia next summer.

He is known for his blistering pace, loves to cut inside from outside the box and shoot. The Mexican winger is often deployed on the left hand side of the midfield and has scored 6 goals and provided 2 assists in 6 Eredivisie games.
