Arsenal in race to sign Le Havre Defender, Harold Moukoudi



Arsenal are said to be in the race to sign next rated France Under 18 international, Harold Moukoudi who currently plays for Ligue 2 side, Le Havre, as per a report from the Sun.

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is reportedly in the race to sign France prospect, Harold Moukoudi but will have to beat other teams like Nice, Bordeaux, Red Bull Leipzig to the chase for the 19-year-old.

The Gunners are looking to reinforce their defense with German International, Per Mertesacker set retire at the end of the season. The highly rated teenage star could join Arsenal in January to play alongside another teenage breakthrough player Rob Holding in the Arsenal defense line with uncertainty surrounding Mustafi’s future at the club after being linked with a move to Inter Milan during the summer transfer window.

Harold Moukoudi has already been capped by France U-18 and has made 9 appearances for Le Havre this season. He is tipped to be a potential breakthrough footballer, joining the list of his countrymen like Paul Pogba and Dimitri Payets who were products of Le Havre.

It is reported that Ligue 2 side, Le Havre have resolved to sell the youngster in January on the condition that he will be loaned back to the club till the end of the season so as to help them in getting a promotion to Ligue 1.
