Arsenal set to pacify fans with two world-class signings

Arsenal are reportedly closing in on a move for Gabonese striker, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang who has been earmarked as a direct replacement for Manchester United bound, Alexis Sanchez.

Reports making the rounds claim the Gabonese forward is keen on a move to the Emirates after falling out with key members of the coaching staff and could be available for a fee in the region of €60 million with the Dortmund chiefs reportedly fed up of his attitude and off the field antics.

However, out of favor Manchester United playmaker, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also closing in on a move to the Emirates with the player been used as a makeweight in the deal that will see Alexis Sanchez move to the opposite direction.

With the Gunners out of the FA Cup and eight points adrift the top four, signing Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan would send out a huge statement given their level of quality and will lift the gloomy mood at the Emirates currently as the north London club remain winless across all competitions since the turn of the New Year.

Although, there are question marks over the 28-year-old attitude and Mkhitaryan’s form, both would be a fantastic addition to the Gunners and would be pivotal in our hunt for a top four finish.
