Bad news for Chelsea ahead of Huddersfield game

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has revealed summer signing Alvaro Morata will miss the Blues trip to Huddersfield on Tuesday after the Spaniard complained of fatigue and a back pain.

Antonio Conte as quoted on Alvaro Morata, he said:

“Morata is out because he’s a bit tired and there is a problem in his back. He is out.

The Spanish international has had a sensentional start to the Premier League having joined the Blues from European champions Real Madrid in the summer for a fee reported to be in the region of £52 million.

The former Real Madrid striker will be a huge blow to the Blues having forged a good partnership up front with Belgian superstar, Eden Hazard in a new 3-5-2 formation often used by Antonio Conte this season.

The defending champions title defence looks over after the former Juventus boss insists his side are out of the title race after falling 14 points behind current Premier League leaders Manchester City.

The 25-year-old has featured in 21 games for the Blues so far, this season scoring 10 goals and providing 4 assists in all competitions.

Italian tactician, Antonio Conte would have to start Michy Batshuayi in place of the Spaniard or start Eden Hazard in a false nine role as the Blues will be hoping to bounce back from a shock 1-0 loss away to a struggling West Ham side at the London Stadium last weekend.
