Chelsea eyeing double transfer deal in January

Premier League champions, Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a double winter swoop for French star, Thomas Lemar and Ghanaian striker, Richmond Boakye.

Report from English publication Daily Mirror understands Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte wants to bolster his options in attack this winter transfer window after falling 17 points behind runaway Premier League leaders, Manchester City who have only dropped four points in 21 Premier League games.

French winger, Thomas Lemar has been on the Blues radar for a while and continues to be linked with a move away from the French champions with fellow Premier League clubs such as Liverpool Arsenal and Manchester United also interested in the forward.

Despite failing to hit the form of last season this term having scored 14 goals and providing 17 assists in 55 appearances, the Frenchman would add quality and dynamism to the Blues attack.

The 22-year-old has featured in 17 games for Monaco across all competitions scoring twice and providing three assists.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian striker, Richmond Boakye who has been in sensational form for Serbian side, Red Star Belgrade and would be a good replacement for out-of-favour star, Michi Batshuayi who has found games hard to come and has played second fiddle to former Chelsea striker, Diego Costa and summer signing Alvaro Morata by since his £33 million move from French side, Marseille to the Bridge last summer.

The Belgian has been linked with a loan move to French Champions, AS Monaco this winter transfer window in search of regular playing time in a bid to boost his chances of representing his country at this summer World Cup in Russia.

The 24-year-old has been brilliant in attack for the Serbian table-toppers having scored 23 goals in 28 appearances across all competitions and would definitely be a fantastic addition to the Blues given his age and his eye for goal.
