Chelsea given green light to complete mega deal in January



Barcelona are willing to let go of Chelsea’s target Dennis Suarez in January. According to reports from English tabloid the Metro the Spanish giants are open to releasing the player in January for the right price.

The report also claims that the race for Suarez signature has heated up with Arsenal and Milan joining Chelsea in the race to sign the midfielder. 

Suarez is reportedly unhappy in Barcelona due to the lack of starts under manager Ernesto Valverde this season. Despite impressive loan spells at Sevilla and Villareal, Suarez is yet to make his mark at the Nou Camp since his arrival some few seasons back. 

It is believed that Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri is a huge admirer of the 24-year-old and was keen to bring him to England in the summer. However, a move failed to materialize as a result of the player wanting to fight for places at Barcelona. but has failed to start a game this season Suarez is looking for an exit from Nou Camp. 

Chelsea are the favourites to capture the player and a fee of £45 million has been mooted by the media for his transfer. Suarez is no stranger to England having spent his youth years at Manchester City making just 2 appearances for the league leaders during his spell.
