Chelsea are hoping to complete Thomas Lemar and Ross Barkley deals

Premier League champions, Chelsea are reportedly keen on securing a double winter deal as the winter transfer window looks to be open in days.

Reports from English publication the Evening Standard suggests Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte is ready to reignite his interest in failed summer target Ross Barkley who pulled out of a deal to the Bridge on deadline day.  It is reported that they are preparing a £25 million bid for the Everton midfielder.

Although, the English international is yet to play for the Toffees this season as he continues to recover from an hamstring injury, many will question the Blues move for Ross Barkley given his fitness and injury worries over the years but his qualities can’t be undermined.

The 24-year-old is known for his passing, dribbling, finishing, dribbling, long balls and also likes to shoot from distance.

Also, the Blues are also confident of securing a deal for French winger, Thomas Lemar for a reported fee of £35 million according to reports from English outlet the Sun.

The Frenchman had a stellar season last term for the French champions having scored 14 goals and providing 17 assists across all competitions for Monaco but, he has struggled to replicate his last season form and have scored just two goals and providing just 4 assists in all competitions so far this campaign.

The 22-year-old is known for his dribbling, pace, creativity, ability to shoot from distance and also a set-piece specialist.

With Conte keen to add at least two players to his squad next month, both players makes perfect sense for the Blues given their age, potential and qualities.
