Chelsea set to table irresistible offer for top Arsenal target

Premier League champions, Chelsea are ready to use Belgian star, Michy Batshuayi in a cash plus player transfer deal in a bid to sign French winger, Thomas Lemar in the January transfer window.

The Belgian forward has found games hard to come by since his £33 million move from French side, Olympique Marseille to Chelsea last summer.

However, having played second fiddle to Diego Costa and Alvaro Morata since he moved to the Bridge the Belgian striker could be open to a loan move to the French champions in the winter transfer window provided he is guaranteed more playing time in other to boost his chances of representing his country at the FIFA World Cup next summer.

The Belgian international has failed to earn the trust of Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte and was an unused substitute in the Blues 3-1 win away at the John Smith’s stadium last week Wednesday despite a back injury ruling out Spanish striker, Alvaro Morata as the Italian tactician opted for Eden Hazard to play in a false nine role.

With Antonio Conte ready to bolster his attacking options in the January transfer window, Thomas Lemar would be a quality addition to the Blues given his massive abilities and potential.

The French international would give the Blues a new dimension in attack due to his versatility and experience.

He is primarily deployed on the left-hand side of the attack and can also play anywhere behind the striker.

The 22-year-old has featured in 15 games for the French champions across all competitions scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists.
