Chelsea weigh up summer swoop for classy Premier League attacker

Chelsea are reportedly mulling a bid for Everton ace Richarlison according to reports from England. The Daily Star claims that the Blues are ready to make a move for the attacker in the summer.

Richarlison has come through leap and bounds since his move from Brazil last season. The 21-year-old shone for Watford last season which earned him a big move to Everton in the summer. Despite the criticism about the transfer fee involved, Richarlison has proved critics scoring 10 goals in 23 appearances for the Toffees.

However, the current slump in form by Everton could affect the Brazilian’s future as head coach Marco Silva is under intense pressure. The Goodison Park outfit have lost five out of their last six games and the Portuguese job appears to be on the line.

Everton value the attacker at around £80million and AC Milan, PSG and Atletico are understood to be interested in the player.

Richarlison is a quality player on his day and would be a good replacement for Pedro and Willian in the flanks. He could also be utilized as a centre forward due to his pace and strength in the air.

Chelsea are currently in a poor run of form and next face Malmo in the Europa League on Thursday.
