Coutinho’s replacement? Liverpool already negotiating with attacker’s agent

James Rodriguez is attracting attentions from major European clubs with his good form this season with Bayern Munich. The Colombian known for his play making and set pieces ability is a target for Liverpool

Liverpool is reportedly interested in James Rodriguez with the Anfield club already speaking with his agent over a possible move to England.

According to Spanish website Don balon Liverpool have shown interest in taking up the Colombian international on a permanent deal. The deal could prove to be complicated due to the loan arrangement Rodriguez has with Bayern Munich. The playmaker is currently into the first season in his two-year loan deal with the German giants, and would have to terminate the loan deal for the transfer to go through.

Liverpool are believed to place James Rodriguez as a summer transfer target which could give enough time for the agreements to be terminated. Real Madrid are keen to sell the Colombian ace and recoup as much of the £70 million fee they paid for his services in 2014.This could be difficult if Bayern decide to uphold the loan agreement.

Rodriguez has recovered his form since his move to Germany with the playmaker making 13 appearances scoring 3 goals most recently a sublime free kick in the victory over Bayern Leverkusen.

James Rodriguez has turned things around since joining Bayern Munich on loan from Real Madrid and is attracting attention from Europe’s top clubs.

James Rodriguez was signed for £70 million from Monaco in 2014 and is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Real Madrid. James played a bit part role in winning the La Liga and Champions League with Real Madrid last season.

James Rodriguez would be a world class signings for Liverpool, but it’s very hard to see Liverpool pulling this off as the player has settled in Bayern Munich. It would be interesting to see how this news develops in the following months.
