Daley Blind moved to Manchester United from Ajax during the summer of 2014. He started his football career at Old Trafford playing as a midfielder but later as a defender during the reign of Louis Van Gaal.

Blind was actively involved in United’s title challenge to win the FA Cup, Europa League and EFL Cup during his time at Old Trafford.

Although United’s coach Jose Mourinho made away with the Holland International this summer after failure to get more playing time in the club and the Portuguese coach hopes to get another centre-back as replacement.

Judging from the fact that Mourinho championed Blind’s exit from Old Trafford, it wouldn’t be a surprise if the 28-year old defensive midfielder decides to bear a grudge against Mourinho but he chose to praise the Red Devil’s coach instead.

Blind reveals that he learnt a lot from the United’s boss and he also praised the fans, expressing gratitude to them as he stressed that he and the coach were on a good page. In Blinds word:
“I learned a lot from him. He is a winner. And he can project that very well on a group…I almost played 150 matches. I won four trophies at United”.

However, Mourinho and Blind appears to be on a good page and no feelings was hurt for Blind’s transfer to Ajax.
