Deal agreed – Man United reach agreement to complete defender transfer

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian is reportedly edging towards the exit door as he has found playing time difficult to come by.

Now seems to be the right time for him to find himself a new home with the possibility of seeing his career aright after little hiccups here and there.

The Italian defender hasn’t had much to show for his huge wages given that he has featured only six times this season for the Red Devils.

Juventus are reportedly keen on the defender with a loan deal to start with, which will be supposedly worth about €4 million.

Manchester United are hopeful of recouping a little from the money they paid to bring the defender to Old Trafford a couple of seasons ago.

The deal, if made permanent will cost Juventus around €14 million for a player whose contract originally expires 18 months from now.

Following the club’s recent renaissance under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United are hoping to offload the deadweight in the team to make room for incomings and to balance the books.

They have now won 7 over 7 of their matches and the fans are in the moon. With uncertainty facing Arsenal and Chelsea seemingly losing the plot, the top four position might be United’s to lose.

The fans have earned their euphoria after they were made to watch a United without gusto and identity under Jose Mourinho.
