Done deal? Chelsea agree deal over transfer of £75,000-a-week winger

Chelsea winger Victor Moses is expected to complete a loan move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce according to reports. Moses was a key figure in the starting line-up during the reign of Antonio Conte and was a success in the wingback position to huge success.

However, the former Wigan ace has fallen down the pecking order this season and is not believed to be in the long-term plans of current boss Maurizio Sarri. Sarri favors the 4-3-3 formation which is a sharp contrast to the 3-4-3 used by Antonio Conte.

The Nigerian international existing £75,000 a week contract runs until 2021 but the Blues are keen to offload the player off their wage bill. Moses turned down a transfer move to China in the summer and he is understood to have begun negotiations with Fernerbache over a loan move.

A move to Fernerbache might just be the right move for the pacy wingback as he looks to reinvigorate his career. The Turkish side have struggled all season, winning just 3 matches in the League and currently sit 2 points off the bottom of the table.

It is not yet clear whether the loan deal would include a buy-out clause. Moses is expected to join Gary Cahill, Michy Batshuayi and Alvaro Morata as potential January exits. Chelsea next faces Tottenham in the League Cup on Thursday as they look to reverse the 1-0 deficit from the first leg played 2 weeks ago.
