Done deal: Pacey striker completes Arsenal transfer



Stephy Mavididi has reportedly finalised his permanent transfer to Juventus on a €2million deal.

According to the Premier League club, the 20-year old forward who has been on loan at Preston North End and also on a loan spell at Charlton Athletic will be joining the Italian side’s ‘B’ team.

The England international did not make a single first-team appearance for the Gunners but played 41 games in the club’s U-23 team and has also won three caps for England’s U-20 team and will be hoping to achieve that with the Italian champions.

Mavididi Made 11 appearances in the championship during his loan spell at Preston North End at the beginning of last season before he left in January and he scored twice in 20 appearances for Charlton during the Sky Bet League One last season.

The 20-year old is exiting Emirate following the recent transfer of Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell to another Italian side Frosinone at an earlier time on Friday and not forgetting the exit of other teammates; Marcus McGuane joining Barcelona, Chris Willock moving to Benfica

Arsenal has however wished him well in his football career as they took to their official website to make the announcement “We would like to thank Stephy for his contribution to the club and wish him well for the future”.
