Done deal: versatile defender completes Arsenal move

League One side Charltona is taking advantage of the loan market which closes before the end of the month as they show interest in Arsenal youngster Krrystian Bielik.

The 20-year old moved from Polish side Legia Warsaw to Arsenal in January 2015 and can be said to not have experience the best of his football career with struggles to get featured in the first-team.

Bielik has been on loan spell at Birmingham City and Walsall but later sustained a shoulder injury that kept him at the back and it appears unlikely to get more playing opportunity from Arsenal coach Unai Emery.

However, Charlton seem to be a better place for Bielik as he can play in the defensive midfield as well as get a chance to show his skills after Charlton only had two signings during the transfer market. He can also be used as a replacement for Ezri Konsa that exited Charlton for Brentford during the summer transfer.

Charlton’s Interim Coach Lee Bowyer hopes to acquire more players before the close of loan window.

Bowyer made his intention known after his failure to give a full substitute bench in the games played this season, he stated “I need a centre-half, another central midfielder and winger/striker, that type of player.”
