Double done deal: Chelsea announce deal for mega stars

Chelsea have announced the loan moves of Nigerian defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Ola Aina to Leganes and Torino respectively. Both players would be going on a temporary move away from their parent club having been deemed not fit for a place in Sarri’s squad.

Omeruo arrived Chelsea in 2012 and has never played for the Blues in a competitive match having been farmed on loan during his time at Chelsea. The defender last featured on loan at Turkish club Kasimpasa making 28 appearances for the Turkish league club.

He made two appearances for his country Nigeria at the World Cup in their group stage elimination and would make his La Liga bow with middle table outfit Leganes.

Ola Aina was seen as a big-time prospect from the Blues academy ranks but has made only 6 appearances for Chelsea since his breakthrough season in 2016.  The right-back spent last season on loan at Hull City and was impressive.

However the defender would play for Italian side Torino this season which could prove a template for him to break into the first team next season. Aina signed a three year contract with the London club before moving to Torino.

Aina  won two UEFA Youth Leagues, two FA Youth Cups and the Under-21 Premier League
