Wolfsburg striker Wout Weghorst remains positive for his dream of moving to Liverpool will fall into place if he puts in more effort in his performance.

The 26-year old striker moved to Wout Weghorst from AZ during this summer transfer and he doesn’t appear to be settling in much in the club as he has high hopes of taking his football career to Anfield.

Weghorst can be said to be having the best of his career this year after his ball saw the back of the net 18 times in 31 appearances during his time at AZ and he also made his debut for the Netherland national team, not forgetting his recent move to the Bundesliga.

Speaking with De Telegaaf, he revealed that Liverpool have always been his first choice since his childhood and he believes if he commits more in his output, an opportunity will come for him to land his dream move.

The forward also believes that if he possesses more natural talent, he would be excelling more than a lot of his teammates because he has a great dedication to football.

However, with the rate of Weghorst performance in 2018, it appears he can actually prevail and get attention from the Reds especially with the new approach of Klopp harnessing talents to his squad.
