Eden Hazard personally delivers good news to Chelsea fans

Belgian playmaker, Eden Hazard has reportedly assured Chelsea fans he will sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge amid reports linking the Belgian to a big money move to the Bernabeu in the summer.

The Belgian international has been on the radar of the Spanish giants for the past few years and reports making the rounds earlier this week suggest the attacking midfielder has verbally agreed a deal with the European champions ahead of a potential big money move to the Spanish capital at the end of the season after putting talks of new deal on hold at Stamford Bridge.

However, the Belgian rebuffed such claims and reassured the Chelsea faithful he will sign a contract extension with the Blues after Thibaut Courtois extend his contract with the Premier League champions.

Eden Hazard as quoted on signing a new contract and Thibaut contract, he said:

‘Yes. I think Thibaut first. Then I will sign.

The 27-year-old has been pivotal to the Blues success since he joined from French side, Lille in the summer of 2012 for a reported fee of £32 million having won the Premier League twice, the League Cup and the UEFA Europa League.

He has grown into one of the deadliest wingers in the world and has been key for the Blues this season across all competitions scoring 9 times and providing four assists in 27 games.

The west London club tying the playmaker on a long-term deal would come as a huge relief to the fans and will show the Blues are ready to compete with European elites.
