Eden Hazard to Real Madrid: Player’s father delivers update on move

Eden Hazard’s father Thierry Hazard remains uncertain whether his son Eden Hazard will move to Real Madrid in the future or not.

Hazard’s move to Real Madrid may not happen this summer even though the European champions have been desiring the player for years now and new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has maintained Stamford Bridge is home for the 27-year old winger, this has raised speculations about the player if he will ever move to Spain.

Meanwhile, Thierry Hazard remains skeptical while speaking to Hiet Nieuwsblad, as quoted on, where he said after the previous deal broke down that if the Madrid move doesn’t happen by end of summer transfer, then it may certainly not work again.

“I can’t say why it did not go through. Not because I don’t want to, because I don’t know. Maybe they have a policy where they want to give the youth a chance. Eden will have one more year on his contract next summer, but he may never end up in Madrid. ”

Thierry claims his son is willing to get the deal, which is a known fact, however it seems Real Madrid are not pressing hard enough, while Chelsea may want to keep the winger who still have a year to his deal with the blues. Hazard’s dad though doesn’t sound hopeful if Real Madrid will come back for his son or not when his contract terminates with Chelsea.

Eden hazard has so far not started any game for Chelsea this season but Sarri has indicated that he may likely feature in Chelsea’s Sunday clash against Newcastle.
