Edin Dzeko drops huge Chelsea transfer hint

Chelsea are reportedly closing in on a move for Roma striker, Edin Dzeko ahead of a potential winter move to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have been in the hunt for a target man this transfer window having watched the form of Alvaro Morata dipped in recent weeks after failing to score in any of his last six games across all competitions.

The Premier League champions have been heavily linked with potential moves Ashley Barnes, Peter Crouch, Fernando Llorente and Andy Carroll in the past few weeks with Conte keen on bolstering his attacking options.

However, with the Blues now focusing on bringing in former Manchester City forward, Edin Dzeko to the Bridge this winter transfer window, reports suggest the west London club are reportedly closing in on signing the striker after he was spotted packing his bags with many suggesting he is to jet into London to complete his move to Chelsea.

A fee in the region of £28 million is believed to have been agreed with the Serie A side for the hitman but could rise up to a fee in the region of £30 million including bonuses and ad-ons.

Although, both clubs are still in advanced talks but the Blues are growing increasingly confident of signing the former Wolfsburg striker before the window closes.

The 31-year-old has featured in 27 games for the Serie A outfit this season scoring 12 times and providing 4 assists and will definitely provide stiff competition for out-of-form Spanish striker, Alvaro Morata.
