Lots of good news have been churning out of Liverpool, with the elongation of Herbie Kane’s contract the latest.
Liverpool top the league after 18 undefeated matches in the league, amassing 48 points in the process. Their recent accomplishment was the sweeping aside of Wolverhampton at their giant killing Stadium, Molineux.
In addition to being league leaders before Christmas, Liverpool have committed under-20 youngster to a long deal, before sending him back on loan at Doncaster Rovers.
Five years ago, the 20-year-old joined the youth ranks of Liverpool from Bristol City where he has excelled and was even nominated alongside Kylian Mbappe for European Golden Boy award 2018.
The youngster is enjoying an impressive campaign with Doncaster and he was overwhelmed with the contract renewal.
“It is massive, coming from a massive club like Liverpool, so I’m happy,”
“I was excited to get it done. It took a lot of hard work to get this, but thankfully it is done. Hopefully I can carry on working hard and get to where I want to be.”The young man declared.
Herbie Kane has lots of potential and he’s seemingly showing them at Doncaster, so he is hoping to one day follow in the footsteps of Trent Alexander-Arnold who has been massive since breaking into the first team.
The future looks bright for the Englishman at Liverpool with the gaffer an enthusiastic youth developer and the platform for growth never sturdier.
