Forget Carroll – Chelsea already negotiating transfer for versatile forward

Chelsea are reportedly in talks with Watford for Brazilian sensation, Richarlison ahead of a potential summer move.

The Blues have failed to replicate their last season form that saw them win the Premier League for the second time in three years having fall 16 points behind runaway Premier League leaders, Manchester City who have only dropped seven points all season.

Reports from English publication Goal claims the defending champions have already begun talks with the attacking midfielder’s agent Giuliano Bertolucci ahead of a potential move at the end of the season.

The Brazilian international took the Premier League by storm in his debut season and received a lot of plaudits from many due to series of impressive displays.

Richarlison grew up from the academy of America Mineiro side having joined in December 2014 but was promoted to the first team the following year by manager, Givanildo Oliveira.

However, he joined Brazilian side, Fluminese on the 29th of December 2015 on a five year deal for an undisclosed fee but last summer he secured a move to the Vicarage Road for a reported fee of £11.2 million.

He is known for his pace, creativity, versatility, vision, dribbling, crossing, finishing, likes cutting inside, long shots, work rate and get fouled often due to his playing style.

The 20-year-old is often deployed in the left side of the attack but can also play anywhere behind the striker.

Given his age and massive potential he would be a fantastic addition to the west London side.
