Four deals to be completed after Gonzalo Higuain move

Chelsea have finally gotten a hold of long-term transfer target Gonzalo Higuain after weeks of negotiations with AC Milan and Juventus. Higuain joined the club on loan until the end of the season with the Blues inserting an option to buy clause in the contract.

The arrival of Gonzalo Higuain is expected to cause a domino effect in the club with a number of players likely to arrive or leave before the end of the transfer window. We have therefore compiled 4 transfers that could take place in the next few days.

Leandro Paredes could be the third player to sign for the Blues in this transfer window. The Zenit St Petersburg ace has been linked to the club in the past few weeks. Chelsea have seen an initial bid of £31 million rejected by the club and a fee of around £50million is demanded for his signature by the Russian club

Alvaro Morata is another player that looks certain to leave Stamford Bridge in this window. The 26-year-old has endured a miserable spell at Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are looking to bring him on loan. The deal offered by Atletico is a loan deal with an option to buy in the summer.

Victor Moses is also close to a loan deal with Turkish giants Fenerbahce. According to BBC, the Nigerian international is expected to sign a contract after his medicals.

Gary Cahill is understood to have started negotiations with relegation-threatened Fulham. Cahill is said to be holding out for a longer contract than the current one Fulham have tabled.

Chelsea currently lies 4th in the Premier League three points ahead of Arsenal in fifth.
