Chelsea Starlet Harvey St. Clair is set to leave Chelsea after 11 years with the London outfit. St. Clair has been with the club since he was eight has reportedly agreed a deal with Italian side Venezia.

The highly rated player had found it hard to break into the first team and has decided to leave the club for first team opportunities.

Chelsea have been successful in the U- 21 competitions but unfortunately many of the players have failed to be integrated into the first team. High-profile youth players like Dominic Solanke and Bertrand Traore have had to leave the club to get playing time, majorly due to the stop-start nature of the Blues managerial situation which does not allow coaches time to bring up youth players.

St. Clair, who was one of the standout performers in the recent Toulon tournament, had also attracted interest from Zenit St Petersburg and English side Watford.  However, Venezia has won over the 19-year-old who is set to sign a four year deal with the Serie A outfit.

The Scotland under 21 international had been thought of as the next Frank Lampard in the Blues setup. Although it seems the player is determined to prove himself outside England with this transfer.
