Good News: £35m Striker Edges Closer to Chelsea Move

Chelsea are reportedly planning a raid on Bournemouth for Cherries striker Callum Wilson. The Blues have desperately been scouting for several attackers ahead of the January transfer window and Wilson has been outstanding among other candidates.

Wilson has netted a total of 7 goals in 13 appearances so far in this season’s campaign and has also made a tremendous 5 assists. Maurizio Sarri thinks the English man would fit into his squad perfectly as an already self established player.

Maurizio Sarri has been helpful in helping Alvaro Morata find his scoring touch after a cheerless debut season at the Blues but the manager is still keen on signing another striker in the January transfer window.

There is claim by the Scottish Sun that Chelsea are fully ready to pay £35m to prize Wilson away from Bournemouth. Wilson was awarded with a first call-up to England’s National Team by his wonderful performance at his club side.

Gareth Southgate speaking to Scottish Sun said: ‘He’s a threat in behind and has contributed both goals and assists this season’. He continued by saying that calling Wilson is also a good opportunity to have a close look at him in training and how he will be a perfect fit for the team. It will also be a good thing for him to have a feel of working with the other team members.

With the tremendous start to the season he is no doubt the finest and best option for the Blues right now.
