Key players ruled out: Unai Emery delivers Arsenal team news ahead of Chelsea clash

Arsenal’s boss Unai Emery has revealed the team’s news ahead of their clash against Chelsea.

The reports states that the club have received a medical update that gave them the bad news of Ainsley Maitland-Niles sustaining a fracture to his fibula and will be missing for about 6-8 weeks due to the injury sustained.

However, Emery has provided an in-depth detail of his team ahead of their clash with Chelsea on Saturday as Arsenal hopes to achieve a better play following their defeat to Manchester City in their game opener.

The first issue on ground is the debate of who to play at the left-back and two experienced players are put up for consideration.

Emery made it known that after the injury Maitland-Niles sustained, he tried using Lichtsteiner who is a player with experience.

He furthermore revealed that Petr Cech would continue regardless of the difficulty faced by the Czech international. Emery says he is pleased with Czech’s performance, in his words: “he has experience, he has quality, he has the capacity”.

The Spaniard regards Czech and Bernd Leno as goalkeepers that have different qualities and they can both play in the way he wants them to play but he would prefer Czech to make the start for the team to relish a clean sheet on his return to Stamford Bridge.

Czech Saturday’s performance is hoped to be a better one as expectations are high from Arsenal’s coach and supporters who are eager to see a better comeback against Chelsea.
