Liverpool are reportedly set to complete the paper works needed in the signing of Holland youngster Ki-Jana Hoever by the end of the month.

According to reports from Echo newspaper, the Reds have beaten the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City to win the race in acquiring the signature of the 16-year old full-back.

Meanwhile, Hoever has resumed training with Liverpool at the academy base in Kirkby but will not be making an appearance for the club until he has the international clearance to play with the Merseyside giants and the deal gets finalised by the end of August, Echo claims.

It appears that there is no sure security for young footballers in realising their full potentials during their teens but with the interest Hoever has from big clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, the decision wasn’t hard to make as it is clear that there is an opportunity for him to realise his full potential as per the assurance the Reds gave him to get a first-team feature when it is time.

However, with the reports from Echo that claims the youngster is already training with Liverpool’s U-18 squad, it is evident the signing is already an inevitable one as it is hoped everything gets finalised by the end of the month.
