Liverpool move to agree £15m striker deal

Premier league table toppers Liverpool are set to agree a £15m deal for their Belgian attacker with wolves while Fulham are also lurking.

Divock Origi, 23, has not had the sensational contributions expected when he featured for Belgium in the 2014 World Cup.

He joined Liverpool the following summer and impressed but injuries have hampered his development and chances.

On loan from Wolfsburg last summer, the youngster has barely featured for the Anfield side. Although he scored a memorable Derby goal against Everton in December when he came in as a substitute.

With Dominic Solanke moving on to join Bournemouth last week for £19m, same is expected to be done to the out of favour Belgian.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, alongside Fulham have shown interest in the speedy attacker but there exist a little complication.

Wolves are interested in the signing of Tammy Abraham who is on loan at Aston Villa from Chelsea, to improve their attack. The 21-year-old has bagged 16 goals in 20 championship appearances so far.

So the signing of Origi will be contingent on whether they are successful in Abrahams chase or not.

Meanwhile, Fulham manager, Claudio Ranieri seems to be a serious suitor for the Liverpool forward and Jurgen Klopp would not mind sanctioning a deal for the player to replenish his coffers following a summer of huge buys.
