Brazilian attacking midfielder, Phillipe Coutinho has refused to rule out a move to Barcelona in the January transfer window if the Catalan giants make another attempt to sign him in the winter.

The playmaker was denied a move to the Nou Camp in the summer after the Liverpool owners rejected three bids for the midfielder and refused to do any business with the Spanish giants and also insisted the Brazilian was not for sale at any price even after a bid in the excess of £100 million was submitted for the influential midfielder.

Although, the Catalan giants have not given up hopes of signing the attacking midfielder and could return with a fresh bid for him in the winter transfer window according to reports in Spain.

Phillipe Coutinho as quoted when asked about a move to Barcelona in January, he said;

“I do not know how the future is going to be. What will happen in January, we will know it in January. I do not know if there will be an offer.

“I am at Liverpool and I always do my best when I have the opportunity to play, respecting the jersey and the supporters.

“Last summer there was a job offer [from Barcelona] in the same way that happens with any employee and I was interested in it. Since I stayed, I have played with will and desire.”

However, after his failed summer move to the Nou Camp in the summer, many expected his form and commitment to drop but reverse is the case as the former Inter Milan midfielder has put his failed move to Barcelona behind him and has been key for the Reds so far, this season.

The 25-year-old scored a superb hattrick in the Reds 7-0 demolition of Spartak Moscow in the Champions League last night as they finished top spot in Group E and qualified for the knock-out phase of the competition in grand style for the first time since 2009.

The Brazilian international has been in superb form for the Reds so far, this season scoring 9 goals and providing 6 assists in all competitions.
