Liverpool poised to complete £27m deal for Man City target

According to Express Sport, English giants Liverpool are on the verge of signing Trabzonspor teen star Abdulkadir Omur.

Omur has put series of impressive displays over the last year and he is currently one of the hottest prospects in European football.

It is reported that Liverpool are edging towards a move for the 19-year-old, who is valued at around £27million by Trabzonspor and are keen to keep him until the end of the present campaign.

Manchester City rumoured to be interested in the player, but it all looks like Liverpool are the frontrunners. Express Sport understands the deal could be dependent on whether Adam Lallana remains at the Merseyside club.

Presently, Lallana has struggled with injury and is no longer a regular in the team amidst interest from former club Southampton and Turkish side Fenerbahce.

Liverpool will do the needful in bringing on Omur as they have allowed Dominic Solanke and Nathaniel Clyne to leave the club to join Bournemouth, although Klopp said he is unlikely to replace the duo.

When Klopp was asked if replacements for Solanke and Clyne would be signed, he said: “Probably not, “Football is a business but we also need to care about people”.
