Manchester United have received a huge boost in their pursuit of teenage sensation Ryan Sessegnon who has had a brilliant start to the season and have attracted interests from top clubs both home and abroad.

The English defender has been a revelation in the Championship since he broke into the Cottagers starting XI last term as a 16-year-old, and he became the youngest player to be included in the PFA Championship team of the season last term after series of impressive performances.

However, according to reports from the Mirror, the Cottagers have given up hope of keeping their most prized asset with top clubs interested in the youngster and are ready to sell him in the winter transfer window as they are reportedly on a hunt for a new left-back.

The English international has impressed at left-back for Fulham this season having featured in 23 games scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists for the Cottagers in all competitions.

He is primarily deployed at the left-side of the defence, but can also play anywhere across the left side of both the midfield and attack.

The 17-year-old is known for his pace, versatility, an eye for goal, dribbling, concentration and his ability to shoot from distance.

With Jose Mourinho keen to add quality to his side in the January transfer window, he will be a good addition to the Red Devils given the level of consistency and quality he has showed over the past one year and would be a perfect replacement for the injury plagued Luke Shaw.
