Manchester United set for Swap deal to land PSG Star.

Sunday Mirror claims that United are mulling over a swap bid for PSG star Kylian Mbappe. United are planning a cash plus player bid for the 19-year-old striker. It is believed the English side would offer a fee plus French winger Anthony Martial for the teenage sensation.

PSG are under investigation by UEFA for perceived irregularities involving last summer purchases of  Neymar Jr. and the club could cash in on the young Frenchman if found guilty. Although the French club were cleared of any wrong doings in signing Neymar, they still have to pay Monaco £167 million for the transfer of the 19-year-old.

The Paris club had signed the striker on an initial loan with an obligation to pay £167 million to make the deal permanent. This deal was struck in a bid to enable the French giants balance their books ahead of FFP checks.

Manchester United have indicated strong interest in the player and are ready to pounce if PSG fail to make his signing permanent. Mbappe is currently on World Cup duties with France and became the youngest French player to score a world cup goal against Peru.

The teenager has continued to put in impressive performances since his breakthrough season where he led Monaco to the French league title. Mbappe made 41 appearances scoring 21 goals as the French club won the treble last season.
