Man United receive huge boost in £35m pursuit of Lucas Moura

Brazilian side, Sao Paulo have reportedly given up hopes of signing wantaway star, Lucas Moura who believes the winger is only keen on a move to Old Trafford and would reject other suitors in favor of the 20-times Premier League champions.

Ibtimes  suggests that the Red Devils are favorites to land the Brazilian and Sao Paulo believes any hopes of signing their former player is very slim.

The Brazilian international has found games hard to come by so far this term due to the high profile arrival of impressive duo Kylian Mbappe and Neymar from French side, AS Monaco and Spanish giants, Barcelona respectively in the summer.

It is believed the winger could be available for a fee in the region of £35 million with the Ligue 1 leaders ready to sell him this month but United are hoping to sign the Brazilian on-loan till the end of the season with an option to buy in the summer.

The Brazilian attacker has grown into one of the finest wingers in the French Ligue since he secured a £38 million move from Brazilian side, Sao Paulo in the winter of 2013 but has fallen down the pecking order this term having featured in just 6 games for the French giants across all competitions scoring once and providing the same number of assists.

The 25-year-old is often deployed on the right hand side of the attack but can also play anywhere behind the striker.

He is known for his speed, flair, creativity, vision, crossing, excellent dribbling skills, finishing and also a set-piece specialist.

With Marcus Rashford suffering from a dip in-form and United short on wingers on the right hand side of the attack, Lucas Moura would be a quality addition to the Red Devils squads given his age and abilities.
