Man United could sell Martial after signing World Cup finalist – report

Man United manager is reportedly willing to sign Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic in a bid to replace Anthony martial.

It is reported that United are willing to let the 22-year old winger leave Old Trafford after the transfer deal for Perisic is completed.

Martial is said to be valued for £70million and unless the proposed replacement is acquired, the Red Devils are unwilling to sell the player.

United seem to have their eyes on Perisic as they were also linked with Perisic last summer but nothing materialized.

The 29-year old defender made his mark at the World Cup as he was a key player in the team that took Croatia to the finals by scoring some crucial goals in the tournament.

Mourinho is seen as trying to make adjustments that could favour the club as he needs to up his game to get befitting results. United went trophy-less last season and this could pose a threat to Mourinho’s stay at the club if he fails to win a major trophy for the club this new season.

However, the choice of Mourinho to bring in Perisic to Old Trafford might not be a long-term plan for Manchester United as the Croatian defender is close to his 30s.
