Man United target completes £88.6M transfer

The biggest transfer news this summer is that Manchester United target Cristiano Ronaldo has completed a move to Serie A champions Juventus for a reported fee of €100 million.

The former United forward leaves Madrid after spending nine seasons with the European Champions and winning 15 trophies. This transfer is sure to send shock waves around Europe as Juventus have acquired a world-class perform albeit at his declining stage. Nevertheless, he still continues to score at an outrageous rate every season.

The Portuguese captain had been reportedly unhappy at the Madrid club and issued a controversial statement in which he appeared to use past tense when describing his stay at Santiago Bernabeu. Manchester United had been thought to be interested in bringing the forward back to Old Trafford, though nothing concrete was finalized by both clubs. Juventus will be delighted to have lured the Portuguese to Turin and are hopeful that he would deliver the elusive champions league title. Ronaldo’s impending move has already caused a 33 percent hike in the club’s shares on the stock market.
