Manchester City are looking like Premier League Champions

English Premier League joint group leaders Manchester City have been tipped by football pundits and football fans across the globe as Premier League title favourites.

The Manchester team have been on rampage this season, thrashing every side they’ve faced this season by convincing goal margins and no team will wish to face Manchester City with their current English Premier League form.

It appears that manager Pep Guardiola’s activities in the transfer market is finally paying off as the tactician spent about £150m predominantly on strengthening his defense with players like Benjamin Mendy and Kyle Walker manning the City’s defense as opposed to John Stones who didn’t live up to expectations last season.

The bolstering of Manchester City’s defense has seen them being the second team across Europe top five league to concede fewer goals having conceded only two goals this season each one against Everton and Bournemouth.

Manchester City attack has done the job quite well in recent matches having scored over 5 goals in their last 3 matches; playing 5 – 0 against Liverpool, 6 – 0 against Watford and 5 – 0 against Crystal Palace. Their top striker Sergio Aguero has netted 6 goals this season and winger, Raheem Sterling has 5 goals in 4 matches to his credit this season.

Manchester City without doubt have some of the best playmakers in the world with players like David Silva who has provided 6 assists so far this season and Kevin De Bruyne who has had a hand in 43 goals in 67 games for Manchester City.

We may well be witnessing the return of the Masterclass Pep Guardiola which the football world feared during his spell at Barcelona.
