Manchester United to make £200m summer splurge on left footed players

According to the ESPN, Manchester United are looking at four players to bolster our ranks as manager, Jose Mourinho is looking at adding balance to the side as left footed players tend to do. The newspaper reports that United are looking at signing Danny Rose, Gareth Bale, Antoine Griezmann and Mesut Ozil in a summer splurge that is sure to catapult us to the heights of competing for the Champions League title.

The situation around these players are peculiar given that they all have issues with their clubs, and can move to Old Trafford.
Mesut Ozil, the Arsenal contract rebel is reported to be close to a move to Old Trafford, as he wants a reunion with manager, José Mourinho who managed him at Real Madrid. He won’t command a fee if he moves in the summer.

The case of Danny Rose is quite interesting as he has talked about leaving Tottenham in search of bigger wages and enhanced opportunities to win trophies. The 27-year-old England left back has reportedly fallen out with his manager, Mauricio Pochettino who left him out of the squad to face Arsenal recently. The subject of Luke Shaw can also act as a sweetener with the United defender willing to go the opposite direction to benefit his career.

Gareth Bale has continuously been linked to Manchester United. The 28-year-old who currently plays for Real Madrid has been linked to a  return to English football with United, but the transfer fee being mooted is acting as a barrier.

The player, who turns 29 at the start of next season has been beset by fitness issues in the last few years, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want him, as we feel his quality is not in doubt. The likes of Isco and Marco Asensio are becoming increasingly preferred to him, but in familiar surroundings of England, his career can hit it off yet again.

French international, Antoine Griezmann was close to moving To The Theatre of Dreams last season but stayed at Atletico Madrid out of loyalty to the club following their transfer ban. He has struggled this season for form and will welcome a move away from the club, though he has been flirting with PSG lately.

If United do get all four players, it would turn out team into a genuine Champions League-winning team and challenge Manchester City, who have looked like winning the league already.
