Manchester United player confirms exit move

Joel Pereira of Manchester United might continue his loan spell as he is reportedly going to know his loan destination by next week.

Joel Pereira joined Manchester United in 2012 that is said to be worth £1.5million, ever since then he has had loan spells at Rochdale and Belenenses.

Pereira seem to be favoured by head coach Jose Mourinho as he was given the opportunity to make a senior appearance three times during his loan spell, he has also played in the absence of the club’s first and second choice goalkeepers David de Gea and Sergio Romero during this summer as he featured in Chelsea’s friendly games against Club America, San Jose Earthquakes and AC Milan.

According to reports from the Manchester Evening News, the 22-year old goalkeeper will know where he stands with the club by next week after talks with his agent holds.

Recently, Sporting Lisbon was rumoured to be interested in signing the goalkeeper permanently but the Red Devils doesn’t seem to want a long-term deal as they declined the offer.

However, the Portuguese footballer was given a new four-year deal with the option of a 12-month extension.

Speaking with Manchester United TV, Pereira made it known that he would like to uphold the good faith and trust coach Mourinho has in him and the coach’s decision of wanting him to play is the right thing while he waits to know where he will be playing for by next week.
