English giants, Manchester United are reportedly planning a sensational move to sign German international, Mesut Ozil from Arsenal this month.

The German international whose contract at the Emirates expires at the end of the season could leave the Gunners for a cut-price fee this month or wait till the end of the season to leave on a free.

The playmaker has been linked with a summer move to the Theatre of Dreams in the summer but reports from English publication the Mirror understands the Red Devils are ready to submit a bid in the region of £35 million for the German this month with Jose Mourinho not keen on losing him to either Bayern Munich or Paris Saint Germain in the summer.

Although, reports also suggests Arsene Wenger would prefer selling the German superstar abroad rather than strengthening a direct rival but with only United keen on signing him this month, the Gunners might be ready to business with the 20-times Premier League champions this month or risk losing him on a free at the end of the season.

Having played his best football under the Special One at Real Madrid, he could be tempted with a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford and would add a lot of creativity to the Red Devils.

The 2014 World Cup winner has been key for the Gunners so far this season scoring 4 times and providing 5 assists in 18 games across all competitions.

He is known for his creativity, flair, vision, technique, crossing, passing, holding onto the ball and also a dead ball specialist.

The 29-year-old is often deployed in the hole behind the striker but can also play on the wings.

Given his level of consistency and abilities he would be a fantastic addition to the Red Devils and would reduce United’s over reliance on influential midfielder Paul Pogba.
