English Premier League giants, Manchester United are set to sign Arsenal’s playmaker Mesut Ozil, for free at the end of the season amidst stall in the renewal of his contract at Arsenal.

Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho is confident that he can lure the Germany International footballer to his side as a result of good relationship they both enjoyed at Real Madrid prior to the player’s move to Arsenal in 2013.

Mesut Ozil has refused to renew his contract at Arsenal which is expected to expire at the end of the season. The German is said to want to continue his club career in England to challenge for major trophies and his ex boss Jose Mourinho seems to be at the top of the list.

The 28-year-old joined Arsenal from Real Madrid in 2013 for a fee of £42.5 million, a club record deal at that time. He was instrumental in helping the Gunners end their nine years trophy drought with a FA cup win in 2014, he has since won two other FA cup titles. He is renowned for his playmaking skills and he seems to be every strikers dream player due to his ability to provide world class assists.

The Red Devils will be looking to sign the German attacking midfielder to strengthen their squad and provide his renowned assists for their currently in-from striker, Romelu Lukaku.
