Paulo Dybala to Manchester United takes a new twist

English giants, Manchester United have reportedly approached Juventus for Argentine superstar, Paulo Dybala in a bid to sign the striker in the January transfer window.

The Argentine international has been linked with a move to the Theatre of Dreams for a while, but a winter move might come too soon with reports from Italian publication, Calcio Mercato suggesting the Italian giants won’t be open to selling their most prized asset in the winter transfer window. Fresh report from the Sun says that Juve have turned down a £70 million plus Henrikh Mkhitaryan bid for Dybala.

Although, reports making the rounds also understands the player is unhappy and might be ready to force a move away from the Allianz Stadium after been played out wide by manager Massimiliano Allegri in a 4-2-3-1 formation, but the Italian giants would prefer to keep him atleast till the end of the season.

The former Palermo forward is often deployed as a striker but can also play as an inverted winger and also an attacking midfielder.

He is known for his pace, hold-up play, eye for goal, creativity, versatility, indirect set-piece threat, stamina, work rate and defensive contributions.

The 24-year-old has featured in 25 games for the Old Lady across all competitions scoring 15 goals and providing 3 assists.

With Jose Mourinho keen to bolster his attacking options in the winter transfer window after falling 15 points behind runaway Premier League leaders, Manchester City in the title race, Paulo Dybala would be a fantastic addition to the Red Devils and could be a long-term replacement for the ageing Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
