Picture: How Callum Wilson will look in Chelsea shirt after completing £35m move

Callum Wilson has been the subject of speculation by the media over a potential transfer to Chelsea. The Bournemouth forward has enjoyed an impressive first half of the 2018/2019 season and is believed to be on the radar of the London club.

Chelsea have only scored 38 league goals this term – the least amongst the top six teams, and Maurizio Sarri has reportedly lost patience with Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata.

The newly minted England international is reported to be valued at around £30million and Bournemouth have apparently signed his replacement in Dominic Solanke.

Chelsea have been linked to the likes of Edinson Cavani and Diego Costa but Wilson is viewed as a cheap and reliable addition to the attack, and here is how he would look in a Chelsea shirt if he Chelsea eventually pay Bournemouth asking fee.

One pundit who believes that the player would leave the Cherries this January is Arsenal legend Paul Merson. The Skyport pundit revealed that the recent purchase of Dominic Solanke by Bournemouth suggests that Wilson could be sold in the coming days.

According to Merson, Solanke would not have made the move to the club without assurances from Eddie Howe on his first-team chances. He also believes that the £19million fee paid for to Liverpool for Solanke would be offset by Wilson departure.

There are chances that Wilson would exit Bournemouth this January for Wilson, however, it remains to be seen if Stamford Bridge is his next destination. The 26-year-old has scored 9 goals in the Premier League this season.
