The Merseyside Reds are currently atop the Premier league table with 54 points while Manchester City are following closely with 50 points.

Liverpool have been active in the transfer window by moving players on to get much desired playing time and recognition or sending them on loan to gain much required experience needed to succeed in European football.

Last week, Dominic Solanke was sold to Bournemouth for £19m while Clyne went to same club on loan. The players submitted that they were influenced by the manager of Bournemouth, Eddie Howe, whose side are playing attractive football just like the selling club, Liverpool.

Ovie Ejaria, 21, who cut his loan move short from Glasgow Rangers last December to return to Liverpool, has again been sent on loan to Reading United.

The midfielder featured for Scottish Rangers,a side managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard 28 times with a two goal return.

Ejaria has featured eight times for Liverpool since making his senior debut on September 2016.The Reds have been in scintillating form which saw them finish the first half of the season unbeaten.

The club wishes Ejaria a successful loan spell with Reading until the end of this season.
